North Ringwood Pre-School

-enrol now-

A huge THANK YOU to Maroondah City Council for a generous grant. This grant has enabled us to provided our Children with appropriate wet weather clothing - keeping them dry, warm and happy during our bush Kinder sessions.

North Ringwood

Our Pre-School is located in residential North Ringwood, next door to a fully maintained & functional council park which sometimes serves as an extension of the Kindergarten for families before and after Pre-School sessions.

We are extremely proud of our Pre-School and its facilities. We are a well resourced centre and form a part of the Maroondah Integrated Kindergarten Association (MIKA).

The program we offer is indoor and outdoor, and based on supporting children to learn through play at their own pace, in a safe and secure (and fun!) environment.

Our Educators work hard to ensure that all our kinder children feel respected, confident, and a valued part of our close-knit community.

Our Pre-School is managed by a Committee Of Management, made up of parents from the Pre-School, who volunteer their time and experience to oversee the financial, legal, social, and facility maintanence of the Preschool.

Our Committee Of Management is guided by Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA - formerly know as KPV). The Committee Of Management is elected at the Kinder's Annual General Meeting & Information Night held in November of each year.

Many of our children move on to North Ringwood Primary School, Park Orchards Primary School and Holy Spirit

 Community School.

We also offer and amazing BUSH KINDER PROGRAM - Learn More now.

"It is with great pride that I recommend North Ringwood Pre-School as an outstanding Pre-School facility. As one of the original committee members, I watched the development of the North Ringwood Pre-School in Lockhart Road North Ringwood and the acceptance of the community as a valued educational facility. All three of my children benefited by attending the pre-school during the 70’s and 80’s and transitioned to primary school well prepared.

In 2019, I had the greatest pleasure of taking my youngest granddaughter to North Ringwood Pre-School for her kindergarten year. Although staff had changed over the years, the commitment to the educational and social outcomes of the pre-school had not. The staff are caring, considerate and had programs that were designed to challenge children and engage them in learning.

My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her year at kindergarten and looked forward to going to school confident and fully prepared for the experience. The North Ringwood Pre School offers 3 and 4 year olds a chance to develop their learning in many ways. Social interaction, learning experiences, exploring the bush at bush kinder as well as encouraging their developing minds to ask questions about the world we live in. I hope that the North Ringwood Pre-School continues to offer a wonderful diverse range of experiences for young people to enable them to develop to their best potential."
